About

Mary Griffiths (b. 1965) is from the Wirral and lives in Manchester. She graduated from the MA Fine Art at Manchester School of Art in 2009.

Recent exhibitions include: Protest and Remembrance at  Cristea Roberts Gallery, London (2019); Wild Honey, The Turnpike, Leigh (2018, Arts Council England funded); Prospect Planes, a video drawing made with Kostya Novoselov for the Great Exhibition of the North, Newcastle/Gateshead, 2018 (Commissioned by Brighter Sound with Arts Council England funding ); Wonder Materials: Graphene and Beyond, Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester  and touring internationally (2016 – 2018); From Seathwaite, permanent wall drawing at the National Graphene Institute, Manchester (2015); Still Further, Bureau, Manchester (2014); Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London (2014); Some Recent Examples, Manchester (2013); Cabedal, Plataforma Revolver, Lisbon (2012); Fathom, Bureau, Manchester (2012); Memory of a Hope, Ceri Hand Gallery, Liverpool (2011).
